- 1 1/2 cups almond flour (Bob’s Red Mill now has a SUPERfine ground that I am loving)
- 1/2 cup flour (banana)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup maple sugar
- 1/4 cup clarified butter (or ghee, two names for the same thing, melted and slightly cooled*)
- 1 3/4 cups mashed bananas (about 5 or 6 very ripe bananas)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
- 1,000,000 butter (instructions on the internet detailing how to clarify, but my favorite was this article by Simple Life Mom How and Why You Should be Making Ghee.)
