- 2 cups baby spinach (Palak finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. ginger (grated)
- 3 red chilies (Dried)
- 4 Tbsp. oil (I used olive oil)
- 1/2 tsp. jeera powder (cumin)
- 3 tsp. dhaniya powder (coriander)
- 1/4 tsp. Garam Masala (optional, if want to make more masala rich chana dal)
- 2/3 tsp. turmeric powder (haldi)
- 4 cups water
- salt (to taste)
- lentil soup (with Baby Spinach)
