First time to make this recipe. Could not find the Maggi sauce, so I added the same amount of Soy Sauce. It was great. I ate this same dish a a restaurant in Chicago. While I don't remember the taste exactly, I do know that I liked both dishes the same. I like glass noodles. They absorb the sauce which makes them tasty by themselves. This recipe is tricky, but the directions have pictures to show you what the steps should look like when done. Plus the timing is deceiving because the timing starts after you've done all of the cutting. Start to finish I would say it took 1 hour when you do all of the cutting. I will make this again.
