- 3/4 cup white onion (finely chopped)
- 3/4 cup Mexican cream (or Crème fraiche)
- 3 Tbsp. lard (melted, or oil)
- 4 chipotle peppers (cleaned and seeded for the salsa)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
