- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce (or gluten free tamari)
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar (unseasoned)
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup (or canned tomato sauce)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/4 tsp. dark sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce (or gluten free tamari)
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar (not packed tightly)
- 1/2 tsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard (nice, use the good stuff, it will make a difference)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. dark sesame oil
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into half-inch cubes”)
- 8 oz. water chestnuts (can sliced, drained and minced)
- 1/2 cup mushrooms (minced, minced to the same size as the water chestnuts)
- 1/2 yellow onion (minced)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 6 leaves iceberg lettuce
