This is one of my favorite dishes to make for brunches or Christmas morning! I have Cooke this both ways with the bread sliced or cubed, both are great! I add extra pecans and syrup is not necessary if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth. Adding some fruit like blue berries, raspberries, or strawberries to top it off at the end tastes great and adds some color to the dish!

This is a great recipe. No exotic ingredients. Easy to follow. Versatile.
After enjoying it twice, for an alternative, I cubed the bread, and instead of the praline theme, I dropped fresh blueberries on top before baking, then served with additional fresh blueberries. That worked, too.

Great! I love baked French toast and the Pralines made it sooooo good. My 10 years old who is so picky goobled it down
