- 2 bananas (medium, peeled and coarsely chopped)
- 2 apples (large, any kind, peeled and diced)
- 2 cups milk (choice, such as unsweetened vanilla almond milk or coconut milk, regular milk, etc.)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup (or honey, or as desired)
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil (or butter, helps prevent sticking-don’t omit)
- 1 cup steel cut oats (if need certified gluten-free, try Bob’s Red Mill)
- 2 Tbsp. ground flax seeds
- canela (and nutmeg)
- almonds (or peanut butter)
- granola (store-bought or homemade, try Pack ‘n Go Granola or Power Crunch Granola)
- chopped nuts (such as walnuts, almonds, pecans and macadamias)
- dried fruit (unsweetened, such as cranberries, blueberries and raisins, chopped apricots and cherries)
- bananas (sliced, apples, peaches and berries)
- yogurt
