- 2 lb. baby potatoes (tiny, if they're teeny tiny, leave 'em whole, otherwise cut in half or quarters)
- 8 garlic cloves (whole and unpeeled, optional)
- extra-virgin olive oil (a few teaspoons here and there to coat)
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb. fresh asparagus (ends trimmed and cut into thirds)
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted, or 1 T per thigh)
- seasoning (your favorite, added to butter, to taste)
- sauce (OR you can just use a, such as buffalo, and baste with that)
