I found this to be a good basic recipe for a side dish or a one-pot meal. I used it as a one-pot meal by adding veggies and grilled chicken. Simply sauté the veggies then add the orzo to toast, then the chicken stock. Bring to simmer and add the diced chicken and cook until broth is absorbed for a one-pot meal. I also added a clove of minced garlic and salt and petter to taste.

A little plain but very yummy! I added some red pepper flakes to add a little spice!

very easy! customizable with whatever seasonings or veggies you want to add, and simple to turn into an entree with protein.

Excellent. Put roasted garlic chicken broth and parmesan cheese didn’t even need the basil.

I loved making this. I took some basil at the end of summer, blanched it and froze it. When I saw this recipe I used my frozen basil and it worked perfect. It was so good and I plan to make this again!

Family favorite. Taste great and quick/simple to make. We add spinach and mushrooms or spinach and broccoli to add nutrition. Add those at start when brown orzo to ensure they cook.

Great recipe. Super easy, fast, and the family loved it including my 3 year old. Added chicken and cherry tomatoes to it.

So simple, yet so delicious. I prepared this exactly as shown and it was a perfect side dish. That said i could easily see adding chicken or Italian sauasge and having a great entree
