- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. grated orange peel
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract (used lemon extract)
- 1 tsp. orange extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 5 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- orange peel (optional to add, strips)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, orange and lemons peels and the lemon ( which I subbed) and orange extracts and mix well until combined. In another bowl mix the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and mix until all the flour is added. Drop by rounded teaspoon on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
