- 1 cup brown rice (+ 2 cups water, cook according to your preference)
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 lb. ground chicken (or turkey)
- 2 Tbsp. minced ginger (or freshly grated)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. sauce (asian spice, or maybe ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes* try chili-garlic sauce, sambal oelek, or sriracha)
- 1/2 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed, I juiced 8 clementines/mikans/tangerines)
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce (organic, or tamari)
- 2 heads broccoli
- 7 cups florets
- sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

While I appreciated all the ingredients, something was missing as it still tasted bland. I would also recommend more orange juice, asian spice sauce, and possibly more soy sauce. I'd try this recipe again but would add my own flare to it.

Love this light meal...added a tablespoon of Hoisin sauce and a teaspoon of corn starch to thicken..I used ground white turkey meat..came out great and my finicky husband and son loved it.. I used quinoa and rice blend..

Delicious! I added some orange marmalade to mine to give it extra fresh orange flavor! Had some friends over to dinner and they LOVED it and asked me to share the recipe!
