This is really good. I Used 3 Italian Pork sausages cut in 2 cm pieces. I also added a total of about 1/4cup of water while cooking.
This recipe is a bit vague. Try these steps
- preheat oven to 350
- Heat olive oil and then fry sausages until most pink is gone
- add onions and continue for 2 mins
- add green beans and continue 2 mins mins
- add frozen perogies and 1/4 of the water
- mix and stir all of it together
- use a steel spatula so you can scrape and flip along the bottom to prevent the pierogies from falling apart
- cook about 5 mins more turning, stirring and adding the the rest of the water as needed to keep moist - effectively poaching the pierogies
Add cracked pepper and sea salt and stir
- put into the oven for 10 mins
- turn at halfway
- plate and serve with sour cream

It turned out amazing! I prepaired the sausage in a large iron skillet, used the same oil and added onion, minced garlic mushrooms, and frozen green beans. placed the veggies and sausage in a covered bowl while I sauteed the pierogies.
Once the pierogies where done I combigned the meat and veggies into the skillet (covered) and placed it in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Thanks for the recipe!
