Not bad for a first try - it looked as thick as the picture and smelled divine! Will eat it tomorrow though but tasting it I could tell it's gonna be awesome!

This is a really great time saving version of chicken cacciatore that still tastes really delicious. The only changes I made was that I heavily peppered my chicken breasts before cooking. Gave it a little extra heat. I also chopped up my bacon before frying it and it was really nice to have that flavor running through the dish. I also bought thin cut chicken breasts, just for a little extra speed, but that's not necessary. I made this for a new beau that came over for dinner. He was really impressed with how flavorful it was and went back for seconds. It's a simple recipe that comes across so delicious that people will think it took a lot of time and effort. As Kathy J. said, it's a wonderful dish for company to smell simmering on the stove before you serve it. I will be adding this recipe to my regular rotation. Thank you!
