- 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/3 cup cooked bacon (crumbled, + 1/4 cup more for serving)
- 3 oz. grated cheddar cheese (sharp will give more flavor but medium and mild work too)
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

Delicious and easy! Extremely rich! You will want to double the recipe for sure. I have made it a couple of times and it is so simple. The whole grain pasta holds up well and the kids don't even notice it which is a first because normally they will balk at the whole grain. I like the sharp cheddar the best.
