  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 red chilli (mild, minced, or 1/2 tsp chilli paste)
  • 225 grams white rice (~ 1 cup)
  • 750 milliliters vegetable stock (~ 3 cups)
  • 400 grams kidney beans (drained, 240g, or ~ 1 1/4 cups, when drained)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree (/ paste)
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
