I haven’t had Swedish Meatballs in year. So I found this recipe on Yummly and I have to say this one of the BEST RECIPES EVER!!!! I made minds with Penne Noodles instead of Egg Noodles and it turned out GREAT! Thanks again to all of the best recipes that is put on MY FAVORITE RECIPES APP❤️❤️❤️❤️

I used heavy cream, only a quarter of the Parmesan, and 93% ground beef. The dish was great. I will definitely make it again.

it was quiet delicious i used hearty thick old fashioned egg noodles and I used heavy cream and half and half instead of milk will only use half pound of meat next time as most my eaters are not too fond of meatballs. also used my own judgement on the amount of beef broth as I had to add more after adding noodles. I also used my own judgement on the amount of salt and pepper I added.

A bit crumbly, more breadcrumbs and/or egg would help stick them together. Definitely agree with heavy cream over milk for sauce, but still not bad as written.

Needed to add cornflour to thicken the sauce. Served meatballs with mashed potatoes instead of the pasta so only added 1 cup each of the milk and beef broth. Would cook again!

So delicious! Reminds me of a Lipton’s Noodles and Sauce I used to love as a kid except way healthier! I made this gluten and dairy free and it was still completely decadent and amazing. I doubled the recipe for our large family who also love leftovers. I used a fresh gluten free linguini noodle and gluten free bread crumbs I made in my food processor with toasted brown rice bread and then seasoned afterwards. I used coconut aminos vs Worchester shire sauce and for the milk used half canned regular (full fat) coconut milk and regular almond milk. I used a pound of ground turkey and a pound of grass fed organic ground beef for the balls. I also did not double the salt in the meatballs nor did I add salt to the sauce so that I could salt later if needed when it was done. Topped with some torn Italian parsley on top. Delicious!!!

I used premade meatballs, but other than that I followed the recipe to the letter. Took a while to cook the noodles fully and reduce the sauce. The pepper flavor was a bit strong for me. I would make it again.

Flavor was delicious but I didn’t think there was enough noodles and took a lot longer than stated to thicken. However I’m a very amateur cook, so I probably was doing something wrong.

Delish as usual! I make this all the time! I use half heavy cream and half milk though to make it creamier and sometimes add a little sour cream.

Really great! I didn’t add any salt until I poured the liquid mixture in the pan, that way I could taste it and get it to my liking. I also used less sodium Worcestershire and added more milk towards the end because I wanted it really saucy! I also skipped out on the egg (I forgot to get it from the grocery store).

I felt that more liquid was needed to cook the noodles and i halfed the amount of noodles

Very easy and yummy. I did cut the salt though, and used premade meatballs and just browned them. Awesome results for a picky family.

Great dish but luckily read the reviews so did not salt a second time and put slightly less salt the first time. Also put a pinch of sugar with milk mixture. 3cups of noodles turned out to be plunty as well.

It was good and easy to make but whoaaa way too much pepper. just a pinch would be good.. I will make it again though less pepper!

The recipe is good but it definitely needs some adjusting as far as the salt is concerned. As others have said, it is way too salty. I would only add salt to the meatballs to give them flavor since the sauce gets enough from the broth, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and cheese. Adding anymore is overkill. Other than that the recipe was great. I added my noodles basically after adding the broth and milk. It didn't evaporate too fast for me but I also put a cover over it while it was cooking so that may have helped.

A delicious and easy dish to make! That it is a one pot dish is definitely a bonus. I made it with ground turkey instead of beef and did not add salt to the sauce. I ended up with a flavorful dish that was not too salty as others have complained. I did have to add extra beef broth to the dish as it evaporated before the noodles were cooked so I'll keep extra on hand next time. The whole family loves this dish!

The sauce dissolved way too fast so I kept having to add more milk while the noodles cooked. It was also very salty, overwhelmingly so. I added about 2tbsp sugar to counter the salt and it turned out spectacular. Keeper, will make again.

Only use 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper for both sauce and meatballs! Definitely a typo.
Good, easy dish. I used 1 cup cream and 1 cup milk instead of 2 cups milk. (Only because I needed to use the cream) it made it fantastically creamy, fattening, and delish!

The flavor was great but it was too salty.... Next time I would put less in.
By the time by the time the cheese is added it's just too much.

Very nice! I replaced all beef items in this recipe with chicken, so it would be kosher. I did not follow the seasoning instructions, and just added salt and pepper to taste, which gives the best results anyways (in my opinion, at least). Definitely a repeater!

Delicious. I didnt read the recipe right and ended up putting only half a teaspoon of salt in the meatballs but it turned out fine- did turkey meatballs. But when i put half of a tablespoon of salt into the pasta it was wayyyyy too much. I would say NOT to put any salt after the meatballs, the worchester sauce will do the rest. Will DEFINITELY make again

It was pretty good. My husband and 2 boys (4 and 2) ate it. Which is always a plus in my book. I did however cut the salt in half because everyone kept saying it came out salty and I don't like salt at all. I also added Italian sausage to the meatballs.

Meatballs are boring, needs a combination of meats. Looks much better than it tastes; was disappointing.

Made exactly as specified. WAY too salty (and I like salt!). Really thought it sounded good but wasn't. Would not make again.

Very tasty. You will fill up fast, so do not fill up your bowl with this dish. Maybe slightly too salty.

The sauce came out a little spicy?? Husband made this. Otherwise nice and tasty. :) Meatballs were good.
