  • 8 ounces baby portabella mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 3 cups beef broth (I like reduced sodium)
  • 3 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon beef (bullion, or 1 cube, I like better than bullion brand)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2/3 cup sour cream (or more if you like it creamier)
  • salt
  • pepper

    It was just okay, I read reviews that it was bland so I added extra seasoning but it still had little to no flavor. The recipe was easy but I don’t think I’ll make it again unless I’m in a time crunch.

    This was excellent! Great instructions. Easy simple pantry ingredients. Will make again. I used canned button mushrooms since my husband doesn’t like mushrooms. He easily picked them out. Yum!

    Cooked onions & hamburger together before added mushrooms. Used 2 cups noodles & 2 cups broth. Added Chipotle seasoning (1/4 tsp). Also added 2 packets of beef bouillon and Wondra not flour. Cooked until liquid was gone (25 mins) before adding 1/2cup sour cream.

    whole family enjoyed it. this was quick and easy to make, i used some leftover cooked hamburger meat and left out the mushrooms (only a couple of us like them). will definitely make again

    Yum! Didn’t have beef broth but used chicken broth and good knorr beef bouillon cubes, lots of Worcestershire sauce & lots of sour cream. Also garlic olive oil in addition to the garlic. Rich and delish!

    Followed the recipe except parsley and mushrooms (picky eater in the house) but it turned out great! Watched close near the end not to evaporate too much sauce. However it is quite bland. I suggest adding your favorite spice. Having said that, I would make it again though.

    easy to make and flavorful and eazy to clean up after. the sour cream just takes the flavor over the top. My family loves when I make this. And I finally have them eating and liking food with mushrooms in it. They never knew a fungus could taste so good kids I swear any excuse to be picky

    Easy to mAke i changed cream for greek yougurt and it was fantastic
