    Delicious! The soup base is great and can be used for so many other soups. You could do gnocchi, chicken, sausage, really anything you want

    My family loved it. The one thing I would do different next time due to pickier eaters preferring a smoother soup, would be to blend the tomato base before adding the tortellini and parm.

    Tried this just to try it. Loved it. Did a cup of parm/romano instead of a 1/2 cup parm. Definitely making it again and be doubling up. I’m a soup guy. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up here....

    The soup started out great as I was cooking it (I sneaked a lot of “just want to make sure it tastes ok” sips), but to my surprise the tortellini somehow dumbed it down: the flavor of the soup was not as full and rich with the pasta added. I would actually totally make the soup base again and maybe let it cook down to thicken if the mood took me, but will leave out the pasta.

    Easy guaranteed one pot, one hour, meal with minimal effort required. I'd recommend sticking to the fresh herbs because there aren't many steps where you can enhance the flavor; so don't skip on the freshness!!

    Great basil taste. Only used the Parmesan as garnish so as not to overpower the light tomato taste Will definitely make again

    It turned out great! Will be saving this for a rainy day. The only thing I did differently was cooked the tortellini a little longer.

    This was very good. I did not simmer for 20 minutes before adding tortellini as I was short on time and it still taste amazing. I also added spinach! Will make again.

    I thought it was really good, and so did most of my family. I thought it may need a bit more salt but the parmesan cheese adds that extra bit. Really easy to make but it isnt something quick.

    Really tasty and will make again!!I I turned it into a stew (we’ve young children, so soup is out) by reducing stock to 1 cup and cooking longer.. swapped Parmesan for grated cheddar.

    Delicious!!! It’s a cold rainy day and instead of the usual chili I prepared this recipe. It was a great decision! This is a smooth soup not heavy. It’s good without changing a thing in the recipe. Definitely a keeper recipe!!!!!
