Description
If I have last-minute guests or just need a quick dinner on the whim, pasta carbonara is my go to recipe. It’s incredibly easy, consists mostly of staple ingredients and requires very little effort. http://julieblanner.com/pasta-carbonara/
Ingredients

- 1/2 lb. bacon (cooked and cut into pieces)
- 1 lb. pasta
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 eggs (whisked)
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan ({one of the few times I prefer it out of a shaker})
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- pepper (to taste)

Directions
- Brown bacon in large saucepan over medium heat. Remove, set aside and drain pan.
- Bring water to a boil and prepare pasta al dente.
- Drain pasta and toss in butter, eggs, cream and optional garlic.
- Add in bacon, followed by parmesan.
- Serve with fresh cracked pepper.
