- 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach (pkg., thawed and squeezed dry)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz. penne pasta (I used Barilla's Veggie Penne, Tomato & Carrot)
- ricotta (Topping:)
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (finely, fresh or canned)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (packed Sargento, & Provolone Cheese, Traditional Cut)
- 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning (dried)
- fresh basil leaves (to garnish, optional)
