I didn't read through the whole recipe before starting it, so when I got to the part that said to put the orzo in, I thought it needed to be pre-cooked, not realizing that this recipe calls to add the chicken stock to the pan as well. I was able to still put the onion and basil with the orzo in its water, then added the shrimp and asparagus. It would have been better if I'd paid more attention, but it was still tasty even without the white wine "sauce" and the stock!
