I couldn't bring myself to add 1/4 cup of honey - too much sugar! So, I used 1 tbsp of honey, and otherwise followed the recipe. My husband said it could be taken up a notch, but was otherwise good. I'm thinking that next time, I will marinate longer than 1 hour, use 2 Tbsp of agave, and add some mandarin orange for some extra oomph. May even add some Chinese 5 spice if doing the above doesn't kick it enough.
