Garlic and Parmesan give this simple roasted side dish Italian flair. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Edwina Clark, RDN.

- 2 cloves garlic (large)
- 1 1/4 lb. asparagus
- 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- black pepper (to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crush and finely mince the garlic cloves.

amazing recipe! i added extra seasonings and garlic since i had 4 lbs worth of asparagus to cook, and they turned out well. i did have to cook them for about 15 mins since mine were extra thick.

Spot on! Got the kids to eat more than the minimum one stalk from just sautéing in olive oil in the past.

Very good! Depending on the strength of your oven, it may not quite need 10 min. I lowered the heat at one point as well, as I was concerned about it potentially burning.

Great as is! Couldn't taste the cheese too much, but we used finely grated so maybe that's why. Definitely would have again!

great I used some bacon grease and a little olive oil which added to the flavor

Easy and tasty! I added lemon just after the oven and before adding the parmesan.
