Pretty good recipe ... I did tweak it., however. Here's how I did it. I warmed the oil in a small sauce pan, then added 3 minced cloves garlic. I sautéed them until golden, then removed them and ground them finely with my pestle and mortar. Added all the ingredients and the garlic back to the cooled oil and then served with a crusty warm loaf of bread.
Oh, I did cut about 1/2 the black pepper, and added some red pepper flakes.
We all enjoyed it. I will probably tweak the spices a little in the future just to suit our tastes.
