It’s pretty good but I would have liked more explanation about knowing when it’s done cooking or even an estimated time of how long to cook—and it is really hard to stir it up and shape it—make sure you have someone working with you!

Good easy recipe the online survey was super annoying though kept getting in the way of the directions until I fill this out so I'm filling it out because it's so freaking annoying

These are great! i wanted something to replace those expensive caramel popcorn cakes in the stores. But here are some important tips on this recipe - read!!
1) Warning: when you pour the hard-crack candy into the bowl of popcorn and stir it, never fear, there is a bunch that goes to the bottom and stays there, REALLY HOT. So when you are making your balls, don't put your fingers at the bottom of the bowl! Stir it a couple of time during the ball making process to distribute the hot candy evenly
2) Wear those disposable gloves!!! I finally got smart half way through and did this. If you make the hard crack stage candy right, it should be way too hot to handle. So these thin disposable gloves work superbly; the butter on the hands just didn't cut it- ouch ouch ouch!
3) When you are cooking the candy, when all the sugar and water and other ingredients are half way dissolved, put a lid on the pot and let the steam wash down the crystals on the sides of the saucepan. You don't want any lingering crystals as they mess up the whole candy process and turn you candy concoction into a sugary mess, not a clear candy mixture.
I love these, fat free, tons of sugar, good if you work out a lot. I guess the sugar is a big evil but I stay really active and cannot do without it.
