    I made this just yesterday and last week. Maybe it was my oven but i think at least 15 minutes baking is too much. During my first time making these, at even 14 minutes the bottoms were charcoal black when I took them out. Again, probably my oven was being different. But after baking for no longer than 12 minutes they came out lighter but way softer and moist.

    These cookies were fabulous! They were soft, rich, and delicate. Had a great pumpkin flavor. The butter made it creamy and rich. I changed the recipe a little buy following the advice of another comment and lowered the white sugar to one coupe and added 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar. Perfect for pumpkin lovers..

    Taste like all the goodness of fall! Followed the recipe almost to a tee, except for making 1/2 cup of the sugar brown instead all white.
