A lot of steps. A lot of messy pots and pans. Followed the directions for when to remove from oven (when a side lifted will return to shape). Very hard and crisp. overdone to my taste - prefer chewy cookies. I think the browned butter would add to the taste if it were cooked for a shorter time.
