- 1 cup rolled oats (old fashioned is how I roll)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup cookie butter (sorry didn't weigh any time, just a big old heaping scoop though)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (4 ounces by weight, I've used both white whole wheat and whole wheat)
- 1/2 tsp. canela (or Baking Spice, a Penzey's cinnamon nutmeg allspice blend)
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt (I use kosher)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
