I had to add 1/4 cup more flour before the first proof, it was too sticky to handle. I worried I might have made it too dry but it was perfect. Very soft. So good with a drizzle of honey!

Made on Saturday and it’s half gone (Monday morning), so very good and easy recipe
I use my KitchenAid dough hook to knead, About 5 minutes in the dough was soooooo dry I ended up adding almost 3/4 c water

I made this today and it turned out great. I followed the instructions to replace 1 cup of flour with whole wheat. Next time I might sub honey for the sugar to shake it up a bit.

It was easy to make and actually looked like a loaf of bread! It was dry though so not sure what caused that, I will make again.

It was quite easy, and turned out delicious! I added a bit of cinnamon, then put banana on top of buns. 🥰

Excellent texture and flavor. I ended up using Himalaya salt- not sure if type of salt matters- but it can out a bit saltier than expected. Nevertheless, superb recipe. Can’t wait to give it another go.

Sunday Afternoon 4-19-2020 as I surveyed the YUMMLY website and visually sorted oatmeal bread recipes - I did decide on a straight forward oatmeal bread with white and whole wheat flours. Tomorrow promises to be a damp day and will keep Me in from the Rose garden. I will proceed on Monday and advise results. The temptation of the oatmeal bread toast sounds so good. News to come. Rating only two stars as bread is not baked yet.
4/20/2020 - the mix rise & bake went very well and the proof was in the heal slice. We loved the results. I have already posted to Instagram a photo finish & a friend in Seattle has asked about recipe. One issue I handled was time and temperature. Loaf baked for about 15 more minutes until digital thermometer got to 190 - it was perfect, last 15 minutes needed foil tent.

Couldn’t find my whole wheat flour, so used all regular. Went heavier on the salt. Was great out of the oven with soup. And toasted the next morning.

This is delicious bread! And I’m new to bread making. I added 1 tablespoon of flaxseed and a little more salt. It was fabulous!!

Absolutely wonderful bread! Everything it was supposed to do, it did perfectly. I've made plenty of loaves and this has to be the most favorite of all of them.

This is the best bread recipe ever. It turned out great and the dough was ridiculously easy to work with. I doubled the recipe and used 4 cups all- purpose and 2 cups whole wheat. This is
Definitely a winner that I will use again. Thanks so much.!

This bread is so yummy! This was my first time making a homemade bread. I think I added too much flour, the bread is super dense. But I will be trying it again!!
