- 2 Tbsp. butter (or margarine, NOT softened)

- 1/2 tsp. canela

Delicious! I can’t ever follow a recipe exactly so here is what I modified:
*Used steel cut oats (soaked in milk for about 2 hours)
*Extra cinnamon
*Walnuts
*Stoneground whole wheat flour
*No streusel topping - just a bit of regular oatmeal sprinkled on top
*added vanilla protein powder (about 1.5 scoops = about 30grams of whey isolate protein)
Because the oatmeal swells as it absorbs the milk I ended up with 12 muffins plus a small loaf.

not too sweet! theyre perfect for a quick breakfast with some coffee

Excellent recipe. I added an extra tablespoon of butter to the streusel and since the applesauce I use has no added sugar I added a few tablespoons of maple syrup to the batter

The muffins were easy to make a delicious. Not too sweet. I added dried cranberries for extra flavor
