- 1 lb. poblano peppers (–, about 4 large – roasted -remove stem and seeds and chopped small)
- 4 garlic cloves (chopped fine)
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. coriander
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder (+ 1 teaspoon)
- 1/4 cup masa
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 oz. mexican chocolate
