Easy peasy fast, just use fresh dried beans!
The sauce is perfect sweet/savory umami with usual pantry items.
On opening pot, it looked too soupy...
Left lid off & on cooling it thicken up perfectly, delish!
Thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper!
Newbie to Instant Pot & lov'n it

This is a good recipe. I did a few tweaks - nothing major. My cooker only allows 30 minutes for beans, but with a natural release, the total is about an hour and the beans were almost too soft. I was worried that the beans would disintegrate during the second cooking, but no, they maintained their integrity survived! I tweaked a bit. I was short on ketchup so I added maybe a third of a cup of maple syrup. The result is quite good, but a tad sweet for my taste. I didn't have either garlic salt or chili powder. No biggie. This is a good basic receipt for those of us who like to tweak our recipes. It our recipes. It's awesome for learning to use the Instant Pot and a perfect potluck offering. I will make this again!
