As others have said, just use an online conversion calculator or get a digital scale. Most scales have kgs to lbs and ounces to grams. When people from other countries use a recipe from the United States, they have to convert. The US is 1 of only 3 countries that still use the Imperial system instead of the metric system. I think these turned out really good and they taste similar to a Snicker’s bar.

Ok; as the wife of an Aussie and former resident of Australia, you must understand how to transpose ingredients. For example, the thickened cream is generally not available in the USA. That will make a slight difference to the consistency. In addition, the icing sugar is different in Australia than the USA. So, try a recipe like this and learn how to use American ingredients to substitute. But, I’ll tell you this, my Australian family and I have learned over the years that some recipes just don’t come out the same! However, I’m making a pavlova right this minute and it is going to be fabulous! I love my Aussie cookbooks and slice is an extremely typical Australian delight!!

It was easy and yummy. Use your kitchen scale to get the right weights.....it has both Imperial and Metric..at least mine does. Like Lyn said...learn something new every day

Using the website instructions were fine, even if some were in metric. I used a small bag of Kraft caramels and 1/2 cup of whipping cream and the caramel turned out a little too wet and didn't set-up (I also used the microwave instead of the stovetop), so either cut down on the cream or try using the stovetop to reduce the liquidity. It was fun to make, but is way to sweet for my tastes. I actually give this 3 stars not 5.

the ingredients from the app are way different than on the actual page. i give this recipe a negative 5 star. because someone didnt list the ingredients correctly.

Good grief! I'm giving this 5 stars because yes, it does look delicious, but mostly because of the unfair ratings below. Try a simple Google conversion to get your US measurements! (I'm an American living Down Under and you're only perpetuating the stereotype that we are a dumb, spoiled, and lazy people. Geez!)
