I felt it was too much chocolate but more than that it was way too much coconut oil! It overpowers everything and I could not eat more than half a bite because it was just so much oil/fat. I will bring the fat level way down next time and a bit less chocolate for the top. The bottom crust I really liked

Sooooo good! I had to make some modifications. I just finished all of the coconut oil and didn't want to run out to the store, so I used butter. I think I'll try coconut oil next time. I also didn't have any almond meal or whole almonds to make, so I used almond flour. I will probably stick with that part since I hardly ever use almond meal. Can't wait to play around with different fillings. Someone mentioned raspberry!

The chocolate really overpowered the peanut butter and the coconut oil was really strong. I think next time I’ll not do the chocolate topping and swap to refined coconut oil.
They were not bad but definitely too sweet and didn’t have much variety in flavour

These turn out great! I cut the amount of maple syrup in half on the second batch to make them less sweet. Very good and quick recipe.

Super easy and super Yummly!
Huge hit with the family and kids, lovely flavour and so easy to make that the kids can do it

Delicious. Increased the quantity of filling and reduced the maple syrup to 2/3.

Very easy to make and the basic idea is great. Next time I'm going to double the peanut butter filling like a previous commenter did as I found that the chocolate topping overpowered the peanut butter taste, at least in the batch I made.

Oh my gawd!!
These were so easy to prepare and the final product amazing!! I used real butter instead of coconut oil as I just don't care for the flavor. I also used Jiff peanut butter as the flavor is reliable and I know it doesn't affect my weight or blood sugar. Coming from a person that does not eat any artificial sugar, white flour or any bread goods for that matter, and baked goods or sweets these reminded me of what I was missing when I did eat this stuff but I actually felt better knowing what was in it. I added chopped nuts (pecans) and it was incredible...not too sweet and extremely satisfying. I was also heavy handed with the peanut butter and used double the amount and I'm glad I did as it was he perfect amount for the 9x5 loaf pan I used.

One of the best recipes I've ever had. Better than the original (reese cup)! Didn't have to do any modifications, just needed to make more! The chocolate made for the topping melts very easy so it can be messy but certainly worth it!
