It didn’t set at all so it was very disappointing as I had guests over for dinner and I didn’t have a dessert to serve them. Very embarrassing indeed.

Meh. I don't know. Maybe I just don't like this kind of dessert. Too sweet for me. Fine recipe, though. One note: I made sure I had three hours for it to set up, and it wasn't really enough time. I must admit I put some room temp groceries in the fridge about 30 minutes to an hour before I put it in. It's been 5 hours, though, and it's still not set. I would make ahead.
