My mom use to make this when I was a kid but she used 1 teaspoon of vanilla and confectionary sugar because it melted into the batter way easier. Top with cherry pie filling and let it set for a hour and YUMMY.... PS. had to lick the blender blades afterwards.

Great! Covered it with cherries after it chilled, family loved it. Did one the next week, doubled recipe and topped with key lime creme. So good and quick!
