I've been searching for a Texas chili recipe for a while that was from scratch and not a kit ... this is it ... excellent. Used chili ground beef this time but will try venison next time and maybe a scorpion pepper or two to kick it up a notch. also, i cut the recipe into thirds and it still came out excellent.
