  • 1 pie crust (packaged)
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups pecans (quartered, I chop them with my Food Chopper into nice big pieces OR mash them a bit in the bag. I don’t spend the time to quarter each nut.)

    I followed the recipe exactly. The taste was good, but the pie was very runny, even after several hours of refrigeration.

    Can’t believe how easy this was to make! I added a tsp of vanilla extract and reduced the cooking time to 45 mins. Really flavorful. Great recipe.

    Was good but the cooking time should be 45 minutes instead of one hour, could just be my oven. Should be perfect then!

    This was very easy to make and tasted great! My family loved this so much when I made it for Christmas. They ate it all up and asked me to make another, which I gladly did, since it was such an easy recipe.

    Filling was perfect! I had to substitute the corn syrup with sugar dissolved in water (which I think made it extra sweet). Unfortunately I burned it a little but like i said, the filling was delicious! Definitely going to try this one again.

    Best pecan pie recipe! This is the traditional recipe that my family loves. I had to make another one after Thanksgiving since some family didnt get any....its that good!

    Too much filling Went over the crust of the pie. Not sure how it is yet as it is going to a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Very easy to make. I am at 5000 altitude and it is possible it should not have stayed in the full 60 minutes Hope it is good.

    This pie was easy to make but I made a couple of alterations First, I think the pecans taste better when toasted so I put them on a baking sheet for 10-12 min at 300 I also subbed dark brown sugar for the light since that's what I had. I added a teaspoon of vanilla because how could you go wrong with that? I baked it for 55 min & that was a little too long...maybe because the nuts were already toasted or because I have a convection oven but at any rate, I'd cut the baking time to 50 min

    This was a great recipe my husband love it. This is the first pie i have made in a long time. i gave up on pecan pie i did add a small amount of cornstarch
