This is hands down the best mussels recipe I have found. Subtle heat and rich flavor

The recipe wasn't too clear, but good thing I know what Im doing in the kitchen! Mussels from Maine, did them over a small helping of vermicelli, and some grilled blackened shrimp on the side - fantastic dish!

I made this last night! The changes I made used the 3$ pinot Grigio from Walmart. Added a half of cup to the sauce as well as the mussels. Used 1 can of fire roasted garlic tomatoes which I puréed in my ninja. Omitted the paste. Doubled the garlic. It turned out AMAZING!!! I served with toasted French bread! My husband said baby this is restaurant quality! Seriously the best mussels I have ever had! ( not saying that because I made them)
