This recipe was a bit bland on its own so I had to combine it with another recipe that added sautéed onions, (garlic maybe, can't remember that part), bacon to complement the egg and kale, and I also sautéed everything in a pan, took it out then cooked the (gluten free for me) pasta in that same super flavored pan and cooked it with chicken stock. It made the pasta extra flavorful and the pasta made its own sauce with the starches and the stock.
This recipe definitely needed quite a few tweaks
