- 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds (rai)
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/2 inch ginger (chopped, adrak)
- 2 green chilies (1 or, finely chopped, hari mirch)
- 10 curry leaves (8 to, kept whole or chopped, kadi patta)
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder (haldi)
- 12 bread slices (10 to, white, brown, whole wheat or multi grain bread)
- 1/3 cup processed cheese (grated, or cheddar cheese - cheese can be added as required)
- butter (as required)
- chaat masala (or sandwich masala, as required)
- cumin powder (roasted, as required, optional)
- black salt (or regular salt, as required)
- 1 onion (medium, thinly sliced)
- 1 medium tomato (thinly sliced)
- 1 capsicum (small to medium, thinly sliced)
