    Onions were a bit burned but pretty good

    I'm not sure exactly why, but my lentils cooked much faster, turning into basically unspiced dal in 30 minutes. As a result, the mujaddara didn't have that nice textural difference between rice and lentil that I thought it should have. The flavor was nice, though, and I'll try again with a cloaer eye on the lentils.

    This is a really good dish. Next time I'll add more onions.
