Great little recipe to keep on hand!
I actually had a the wrong size pizza dough as it was a little too small to hold its “belongings”.
A little flour helped mold my dough out,by hand, a little more & the family loved them.
I did use a about half the butter & brushed the top with it & then sprinkled the cheese and Italian spices on top after dipping the balls quickly in the butter or there again Brush lightly with a small basting brush.
I also used turkey pepperoni to save about 40% fat(mind you this is not eaten for a fat free appetizer or meal or what have you.;)
For the amount of time.(Being pretty short after your first time practicing) everyone agreed as I did too. I think it is good recipe to the children into the cheesy or pizza stage or the adult meat eaters & it can be I up scaled some. Many options can added or taken away if desired.
With veggies keep in consideration with having room with the dough having room to still pull over a little purse circle ‘seam’.
I believe its a very good treat to serve for a party of Kids or adults. Being a pretty easy recipe after your first time practicing!(& kid friend & can you creativity!)

These were okay. I made as directed, and they were a little bland. You can't fit much in the middle so you get a lot of pizza dough with not much topping. Also, I found these to be a huge pain to make. I thought these would be a quick easy weeknight meal, with stuff I already had in the fridge, but they took a surprisingly long time to assemble. It was a pain to get the dough to form the pouch and they kept coming undone at the seam. The finished product just wasn't worth the effort for me.
