So tasty! I would recommend and will be making again. I followed the recipe pretty much to the letter. I used smoked paprika. I followed a suggestion from one member who used mozzarella string cheese. It didn’t melt as much as I would have liked. I put the meatloaf in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes, then more BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Rays) for 20 more minutes, then decided to bump it it to 450 to make sure the bacon was cooked. I think next time I will used shredded cheese. I also sprinkled some brown sugar on the top. Boyfriend ate two servings. I served this with instant pot mashed potatoes and sautéed squash (no zucchini on hand). All recipes are from Yummly. Note I used a glass meatloaf pan. Excellent dinner if I say so myself. Thank you Yummly for the recipes. Should have taken before photos.

Great family dish - simple and quick to put together - I added a bit more seasoning (garlic powder and paprika) - baked it on a flat pan instead of a loaf pan - 350 for an hour and it was perfect

I added garlic and onion powder and some other dry seasonings an sprinkled brown sugar on top of the bbq sauce. it was amazing used babybel cheese instead of mozzarella and it was easy and super yummy. We’ll be repeating this meal plenty of times.

I had to increase the temperature and bake for a little longer than suggested but it came out so good!!! Happy to put this one in our dinner rotation. I should add that I used a loaf pan which is a thick pan but 425 for about 60 minutes making sure the internal temperature reached 165°f.

With a couple changes, this becomes a great recipe. I made the meat equal parts ground beef and ground pork as beef can get tough when mixed. Another change was gouda in the center. Finally, if you have access, smoke this at 250F for four hours. The bacon holds the smoke and the slow cook keeps the meatloaf tender and juicy.

Turned out great! I used string cheese in the middle and pre cooked (half way) the bacon! Family favorite!

This is the first time I've ever made meatloaf because it seemed like a bland dish. However, this recipe is incredible! The meat, bacon, cheese, and barbecue sauce complemented each other perfectly. My husband loved it too :-) thank you!
