Flavors were great, I'd add in the onions a bit earlier. I also ended up cooking pasta in the broth and it was heavenly.

I love the dish but can't say I followed this recipe exactly. I didn't have a pestle and mortar so I used a small blender to mix the spice paste. I ended up more than doubling the ingredients to get enough spice paste to cover six bone-in chicken thighs. I also added a few more spices that were not in the recipe and let the chicken marinate overnight in the fridge. Served it with Jasmine rice the next day. Personally, I found it took longer to prepare the spice paste but cooking time was not long and it was very tasty. Not sure how authentic my version is but would make it again.

great! so good! cooking the lemon made that zesty taste. added wine to it but defo good. will try it again.

Loved this! Just keep an eye after adding the water as it boils off fast!
