First, I seasoned the chicken with some salt and pepper while preparing all of the ingredients.
I mixed apricots with dried cherries, golden raisins and prunes (cut in half).
I steeped the fruit in boiling water, and I used a splash of the water to loosen up the honey and spice paste. I'm glad that I did (loose but not runny). I also omitted the potatoes and subbed in shallots for the onion quarters.. We served the chicken with a wild/basmati rice mixture. It was great with the fruit, nuts and garnish. Thanks for this awesome recipe.
