  • 700 grams chuck steak (– a stronger flavour than shin but adds richness to the tagine)
  • 1 brown onion (large, – peeled and diced)
  • 1 red onion (large, – peeled and diced)
  • 1 handful pitted prunes

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 handful blanched almonds
  • 3 fresh tomatoes
  • 1 can tomatoes (whole)
  • 1 squash (medium sized, – peeled, diced into large chunks)
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons ras el hanout (Moroccan seasoning – blend of spices)
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional)
