Description
My mother has been perfecting this spaghetti sauce for more than 30 years. No Winter is considered complete until we have prepared this at least once. The best part about this pasta sauce, is that you can cook it all day and come home to a nearly complete meal!
Ingredients

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. italian sausages
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato puree
- 20 oz. diced tomatoes (Can of)
- 6 oz. tomato paste (Can of)
- 1 carrot
- 2 pkg. mushrooms (Any Variety or Mixture)
- 1 yellow onion
- 5 cloves garlic
- thyme
- rosemary
- oregano
- bay leaf
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 btl. red wine (You're Choice)
- basil

Directions
- Chop and begin to saute the onion and the garlic. Saute on a low setting until the garlic and the onion are translucent.
- Open the canned goods and combine them together in the pot you will use for the sauce. Note: If you open both sides of the tomato paste can, it will make it easier to remove the paste.
- Slice the mushrooms and add them to the saute pan. Saute with the onions and garlic until the mushrooms are soft.
