- 1 red bell pepper (large, chopped)
- 1 cup white onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 6 Tbsp. dark chocolate
- 4 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 4 tsp. dried oregano (Mexican, or dried oregano, crushed)
- 4 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 15.5 oz. hominy (rinsed and drained)
- 1 cup pimento-stuffed green olives (sliced)
- 1 cup fresh cilantro (chopped or snipped)
