I'd had one kind of molasses cookies a long while back and fell in love with them. I have been wanting to try making some for almost as long and finally got around to it with this recipe. I tried with the time mentioned and in my oven they were too crisp, still wonderful, but not soft as they were meant to be. Second batch I cut the time by a bit and they came out great. I will be making this recipe again int he near future. As for them not setting up like another reviewer said. Popping them in the fridge for about 20 made them solid enough to work with, returning the dough to the fridge between trays.
I'm wishing I had some of them to munch on right now!
